Our Safe Paint
There seems to be great controversy on what products are really dangerous and what are not. With all of the recent recalls & news coverage about the lead tainted products and toxic paint we knew that we could not take any chances. We needed to be in complete control of our painting process and needed to find a truly safe paint. There are so many different types of paints on the market right now. Some are so toxic that you need special ventilation systems just to even open the can! After testing dozens of paints and coatings for their durability and any dangerous ingredients we finally made our choice. We now use a very high performance, low VOC, water based paint that dries completely non toxic and is much more durable than anything else that we tested. This paint is then coated in a very durable (and non toxic) clear coating that resists scratching. The finish really looks great and we sleep well knowing that it is truly safe.
